This LEGO® Technic recreation of the durable 4WD vehicle is a faithful design sure to turn heads, while you scale the backcountry. With the Light My Bricks light kit, sporting 16 individual LEDs, your off-terrain truck will look the part as it scales through what nature throws against it.

Light My Bricks offers free shipping for orders over £100 as well as tiered shipping rates depending on the value of your order. Another great addition to my "lit" Lego collection. Interior lighting shows clearly the interior detail of the Defender which is normally lost in shadow. Headlights are intense.
Installation was relatively straightforward with the only downside being the installation instruction pictures being a little less detailed than usual. Specifically, (compared to four previous Light My Bricks projects), I found some of the images were not clear in the area explaining how excess wiring is hidden around the axles. Zooming the image created pixellation that did not help so I devised my own system to deal with the wiring in those areas.
Overall, a great addition for anyone wanting to add extra pizzaz to their Defender model.

This is my second kit from Light my Brick and I am very happy with the results. The packaging is phenomenal and the instructions are very detailed with plenty of pictures. I added a few extra bit lights on the front to give it some more character and fill out the expansion board. A few tips for working with this set:
-Have a good pair of tweezers on hand. This will make routing cables much easier
-Work in a well lit room. There are a lot of dark corners on this Technic set.
-Twist the cable bundles together. With four sets of wires for each headlight, it is much easier to route the cables if you twist them together in one strand.
-The instructions suggest wrapping the headlight and taillight cables around one of the A-arms of the suspension. I didn't want to wrap the wires around a moving piece as this set will get played with, so I routed the wires through the frame of the differentials as pictured. This was more challenging with so many small connectors, but I think it looks much better and is more secure.
